Notre Dame Christian Athletes

NDCA seeks to unite student-athletes of Christian faith. NDCA provides a safe space for students of any faith tradition to share, reflect, and process their way of life as Christian student-athletes.
The group uses several different methods to fulfill their purpose. A select group of students, the leadership team, has the unique opportunity to grow as they plan meetings and projects the whole group will undertake. The weekly fellowship meetings allow the students time to hear from their peers about their personal faith journey, and small group breakout sessions allow for a more intimate climate to dig deeper into discussion questions.
The annual retreat gives the group a chance to spend half a day together. The day begins with a keynote speaker and student-panel presentations, small groups, and then to conclude, a meal is shared. Lastly, the group organizes and plans a community service project each year. Giving back to the community is not only part of the mission of the university, but it is another way the NDCA group can unite student-athletes of faith.
