Notre Dame Christian Athletes

Notre Dame Christian Athletes seeks to provide Notre Dame student-athletes with a welcome place of refuge to inspire spiritual growth and community through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

With our members coming from various church backgrounds and experiences, we form an interdenominational group that acknowledges multiple perspectives while being committed to the central truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as proclaimed in Scripture.

In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus instructs us to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. Furthermore, He calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Following this teaching, NDCA seeks to help facilitate exactly that, a deep love for God and one another. In essence, the emphasis of the group is to build a community of faith amongst student-athletes, grounded in the core truth of the Gospel for the purposes of spiritual growth and mutual encouragement. Through small group discussion, interactive teaching, bible study and community building activities, the hope is that authentic relationships would be forged and continue outside of the Tuesday night meetings. The weekly meetings are purposed to be a launching point to encourage a deeper daily walk with Christ and the community at large of Notre Dame.
